Imagine how different the world would be if more people experienced joy and felt good in their bodies…
You are what you eat. Actions speak louder than words. Your thoughts determine your reality. We accept these notions as universal truths, yet we frantically scarf down fast food in our cars as we rush off to our next obligation. We say I just want to be happy, yet we pursue and prioritize people, places, and things that make us feel like crap. We desire a joyful, compassionate world, yet our minds are consumed by anxious, judgmental thoughts.
We know the way out, but we can’t seem to take it.
To feel good in our bodies, we have to fuel it with natural, healthy foods – but you already know that. You also know that if you want to be happy you have to actually pursue the things that make you feel happy. And, you know from experience that thinking joyful, compassionate thoughts allow you to be more joyful and compassionate.
You know the way. My hope is to get you to take it. If you want to live in a world of joy and love, you must bring joy and love out into the world. You must be the joy that you wish to see in the world.
And, how do I do that?
The answer is simple – be joyful. Be a person who brings joy into the world. Go out into the world and interact with others from a place of joy. Let joy be your impact.
Perhaps, in the past, you have gone out into the world and interacted with people from a place of anxiety, stress, fear, or apathy – infusing their day with these joy-sucking emotions. That stops today.
Let joy be your impact.
When you interact with people from a place of joy, from a place of feeling good, you are creating an environment in which they are more likely to interact with those that they come across from a similar place of joy rather than stress, fear, or apathy. You are creating a joyful snowball. You are, quite literally, being the joy that you wish to see in the world.
